Entry Requirements
To work as a qualified AAO meat inspector you must have:
• AMP30322- Certificate III in Meat Safety Inspection or AMP40522- Certificate IV in Meat Safety Inspection
• If you only have AMP30322- Certificate III in Meat Safety Inspection. You must then achieve the AMP40522- Certificate IV in Meat Safety Inspection qualification within 12 months of appointment.
To join us as a trainee meat inspector, you will need:
• Minimum three years experience in the meat processing industry.
We will train suitable candidates, and support you in this role while you work towards gaining your Certificate IV.
Positions Available
Food Safety Operations Australia are recruiting for Authorised Officer (AAO) meat inspector positions for locations throughout Queensland, New South Wales, Victoria and Northern Territory.
Positions are available both for qualified AAO meat inspectors, and previously unqualified trainees.
